Role Summary

As a Support Specialist you will be providing functional support of the logistics/warehousing solutions across Bunzl Continental Europe (BCE) with a complex architecture and business landscape.

You will be working in accordance with ITIL best practices, in an agile manner with international stakeholders across all parts of the business, specifically in the logistics area, as well as 3rd party vendors and integration partners.

You will be part of the European technology team located in Hungary and the Netherlands providing IT services for over 40 businesses, in over 10 countries of Bunzl Continental Europe

The key objective of the role is to act as second point of contact for our key users when they need support, maintain smooth operations and speedy resolution process for logistics applications and their integrations with the ERP, according to the SLA’s in place.

 

Primary responsibilities

As a Support Specialist you will…

  • Work closely as a bridge between business and Group IT stakeholders providing support services for Reflex WMS and it’s integration with the ERP Dynamics AX
  • Work closely with Product Team and collaborate with 3rd party vendors on the user requests and resolution of more complex issues
  • Analyse, track, troubleshoot and solve incidents and requests thoroughly, prioritize and respond in a timely and service-oriented manner
  • Determine root cause of incidents and offer preventative solutions; escalate to next level support or 3rd party vendor after root cause analysis complete or if skill set prevents resolution
  • Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with key users and 3rd party vendors
  • Facilitate test activities during the day to day operations
  • Maintain and update the knowledgebase
  • Conduct trainings to the key users on repetitive issues to prevent new incidents
  • Initiate improvements on proper processing and recommendations of product usage

 

Join us if you have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar role with strong interest in logistics process flows
  • Good analytical skills and interpret of data connections
  • Experience in a multi-national environment working with external customers and 3rd party vendors
  • Experience in supporting logistics solutions and/or ERP is a must
  • Experience in supporting integrations
  • Experience with Agile way of working
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent command of English is a must both written and spoken
  • Experience in the wholesale/distribution industry
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience is an advantage
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Good cooperation and communication skills
  • Customer oriented, “can do” attitude
  • Hands-on
  • Problem solving skills
  • Driving licence
