Creating the conditions for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) goes beyond simply treating people fairly. By accepting and embracing their diversity, and removing any perceived or real barriers to engagement, we are committed to creating an inclusive, equitable and positive working environment for all employees so that they can develop the skills to help us grow as an organisation and help them grow individually and professionally.

We aim to embrace diversity proactively, building opportunities that those who traditionally face obstacles can seize, and developing a culture where all can thrive and be themselves. The Bunzl Group has set measurable diversity objectives, with a focus on increasing the representation of women in leadership roles. We aim to have all countries within Bunzl Continental Europe aligned with the European Union Diversity Charter. France, Spain and Austria are already signatories. Additionally, all of the region’s leaders have followed the Bunzl training on unconscious bias and many other DEI&B initiatives are in place at country and operating company levels.

Bunzl Continental Europe’s commitment to diversity is embodied at our Head Office sites in the Netherlands and Hungary, where our teams are made up of people representing 27 different nationalities.
